From his early days of working at the legendary CoCo\u2019s in the late 90\u2019s, to Huntington\u2019s popular Artful Dodger, Nags Head and others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today you can find Dan tending bar up in Cold Spring Harbor at the Sandbar, where the quaint exterior that caters to the socialites of the North Shore packs them in three people deep during \u201cSocial Hour,\u201d Monday through Friday, 3 to 6pm. His most famous cocktail, The Whalebone, named for the town\u2019s whaling history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From martinis with the extra pour on ice to just understanding exactly what type of concoction he can create to please a certain customer\u2019s palette; Dan has a knack for getting it just right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Well known throughout the Huntington area as one of the best mixologists, Dan Leopold is battling for the title of Long Island\u2019s Best Bartender in \u201c<em>Greater Long Island\u2019s<\/em> Best Bartender\u201d competition.
