This winter, from 3:30 to 6:30 PM, Wednesday through Sunday, View Bar celebrates sun worshipers with a special “Chasing the Sunset” Happy Hour. It is never too early for a Long Island Iced Tea, and with Cinco de Mayo around the corner, margaritas might be the perfect way to chase the winter blues away.
Seafood is a specialty at View Bar. Sunset Happy Hour would not be complete without including several of the restaurant’s most favorite seafood appetizers at $8. Ahi Tuna Poke Tacos, Long Island Stuffed Clams with Applewood Bacon and Fresh Lemon, Long Island’s Best Lump Crab Cake and Mango Salsa and $2 Oysters. For landlubbers, Peking Duck Tacos Dressed in Hoisin-BBQ Sauce, Edamame, and Carmel Sauced Pork Baby Back Ribs are also on the special View Bar menu.
View Bar is the perfect casual place to end the day, but if you are coming for lunch or dinner and can’t get enough of the water, the outside patio recently installed a heavy duty canvas enclosure with a state-of-the-art heating system for salty die-hards that need the sea.
